Review: Nair Hair Removal Face Cream

First of all your going to get my rant! I am fucking fuming. My face is on fire, it is red, blotchy and swollen. So I put this product on my face for the duration of a song that was just under 3 minutes my face is burned, hot and hurting also very sensitive.
When I was wiping it off it felt like a you where scraping sand over something and it was painful so I kept dabbing a very cold flannel on my face which made it feel better but it was too late my face had been burned and I slavered Aloe Vera on it every four hours.
It will be a few days before it calms down, it doesn't look like any long lasting damage will be done but I will never use this product ever again.

*It took 1 week for my face too stop burning, i was putting aloe vera on 3 times a day and washing with cold water*

Minimalist Lifestyle - My Take On It

Minimalist Lifestyle The Basics

*personal opinions are in red just like this text*

Minimalist Meaning: Keeping Things Very Simple.
A minimalist prefers the minimal amount or degree of something. But anyone who likes things very simple could be called a minimalist.
*I fail a little at this as I am a teacher*

Minimalist Lifestyle
Living with less. This includes less financial burdens such as debt and unnecessary expenses. For many minimalists, the philosophy is about getting rid of excess stuff and living life based on experiences rather than possessions.

What is extreme Minimalist?:
It involves choosing to live a life with only the barest of necessities for example having no furniture but that's the extreme side of it. *My personal opinion here is just make sure you wear the stuff you have and donate what you don't wear*

How to start in minimalist?:
1: Create a clear mindset: Its important to have a good mindset as this will help in the physical decluttering process. Creating a minimalist mindset is living with awareness. *its really just about making a few changes to create a habit to start clearing your mental clutter*

2: Make your intentions clear: You need to know why you want to make this lifestyle change a reality, the reasons can be
                   - You want to save money?
-You want more space around the home?
                   - You want more experiences over things?
If you start feeling over whelmed along the way go back to the beginning and go thought why you are doing this. *I started my journey so I can pay off debt then save for teaching abroad*

3: One room at a time: Pick one room at a time and focus on decluttering that space before moving on to the next one so you don't get overwhelmed and give up. *Listen carefully to this step because I got overwhelmed a few times and still do*

4: Get a system: Stick to the decluttering system!
Your 3 piles could be - Keep
                               -Donate
                               - Throw
Don't keep anything for "JUST IN CASE"
*I always kept a bag of clothes that needed adjusting as I am just too small ill be honest I haven't got rid of it yet*

5: Your closet: Some rule to live by -
- Never keep anything you feel uncomfortable in.
- Follow the old rule of throwing/ donating anything you haven't used in 6 months.
- Stick with a similar colour pallet so your clothes coordinate.
How to: Try everything on (EVERYTHING)
: Get rid of anything with holes/ torn/ stained.
: Donate anything you are not comfortable in or is too small.
*This is the first thing I did I tried one everything from tights, underwear, summer, winter clothes, everything*

6: Go paperless: *I am learning this part myself*
How to: Get everything paper out and make 2 piles KEEP/ BIN
Keep: Birth certificates
         :ID -drivers licence/ passport
         :Education Certificates/ degrees /diplomas
         :Licences - Marriage/ divorce certificate
         : Insurance/ health polices/ tax information/ morgage
Bin: Old bills (longer than a year)
     :Payslips (longer than a year)
     :News letters/ update letters
     :Old employment contracts
     :Bank statements
*Most of the time businesses do a online option even in receipts so always opt for it if you can Don't just bin these documents as they will have sensitive information on the have them shredded or burned. Going paperless not only adds towards a more minimal lifestyle but it massively reduces your carbon footprint*

7: Experience not Possessions:
Choose to enrich your life with experiences or new skills maybe a new adventure.
Birthdays and Christmas's are great for new experience's.
- Fun group activity.
- Days out
- Picnics
- Fell walking

8: Replace don't add:
Try to resist adding to your possessions by replacing things why they are finally at the end of their life or too old to use and then only replace then if you really need them. Most of the time you already have something similar that could do the job or you could just with out it in general.
Resist as many purchases as possible we do not want to buy in to fast fashion or cheap items. *my own rule with this is use what you have first because no doubt you have a few of them. Remember old body wash and shampoos can be used as hand soap for the skinks once their in a different bottle no one will know the difference, I have one in my kitchen and bathroom sink for the hand wash same goes for body moisturiser they can be used for the hands also again just place them in a different container*

9: Consider alternative living.
Many people are living by smaller spaces these days. Space is a premium and anything that doesn't have a use is a nuisance.
- Van life *I always dreamed of van life but I cant drive*
- Small homes

10: Cut down TV: The average person in the UK spends 24 hours a week watching TV.
- Limit your tv to the evenings.
- Go on a walk/ hike
- Get into youtube (there's many free videos on there)
- Read a book
- Play cards/ board games
- Cook or learn to cook (see youtube)
- Talk/ Start a conversation
*I don't have tv haven't had for about 2 years now, I have Netflix/ prime and youtube. I get the news every morning from suri*

11: Travel light: This is self explanatory.
Trust me you don't want to be lugging a suitcase around with you full of cloths you don't wear just because they were on sale.

12: Plan your meals: The UK household wastes £470 worth of food a year, planning what you will eat for the whole month/ fortnightly/ weekly helps and saves you money.
How to: Write out the ingredient that's needed for the meals and only buy that.
: Get delivery if you can then there's no temptation for browsing!
*I have four meals throughout the month so next months will be bolognaise sauce, sweet chilli prawn linguine, fajita wraps, curry (tikka, korma, saga loo ect). I spend one afternoon making all the sauces in batches then freeze them, I make rice and pasta, spaghetti fresh when I need it, my advice for that is don't freeze it I have tried it and for me it came out soggy when defrosted. When I need a meal I get one out of the freezer in the morning to defrost for tea in the evening*.

Review: Blackhead Remover Facial Skin Care Vacuum

Alright guys I've got a crazy review for you, so everyone has been talking about Blackhead Remover Facial Skin Care Pore Cleaner Vacuum so I found on Ebay for under a tenner (bargain) I had to have it here's how it went in steps!

I read the instructions, all 6 pages of it!
- Put the machine on charge
(it had some life in it but you can never be too sure)

- Then I washed my face with hot water to open the pores, clean all the days junk

- The instructions say work from the chin up
(did that it nipped a bit and suctioned my lips)

- Then the forehead: middle to hair line
(ok did that that didn't hurt at all)

- Cheeks: nose to ear (I did that and holy fuck did it hurt)

- Nose: for this I choose a smaller head to get in the little sides of your nose
(did it hurt? did it hurt? well yes it bloody did)

***PAIN WARNING ALWAYS USE THE MOST GENTLE/ LOWEST SETTING TO START***

Personal Review:
This machine hurts so bad. I ended up giving my nose and the side of my mouth a hickey also I bruised my chin badly.
My face afterwards was so hot and red its unbelievable, I wont be using this again in a hurry maybe once a month (maybe) this was my first time using it so maybe I need more experience.

Aftercare: After you have used this machine I would recommend cooling your face down somewhat before doing anything. I used a coconut facemask and left it on for 15 minutes which too some of the redness out of it but it was still extremely hot. When you feel ready, go ahead with your usual night routine and enjoy your sleep and drink plenty of water.

Pride History

Recent NewsOn June 15, 2020, the Supreme Court of the United States ruled that it is illegal for an employer to fire someone because of their sexual orientation or gender identity. The 6-3 ruling adds LGBTQ people to Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, which forbids discrimination based on sex, race, color, national origin and religion.

Stone Riots a brief history: Very few establishments welcomed gay people in the 1950s and 1960s. At the time Stonewall Inn was owned by mafia, it catered to the poorest and most marginalised people in the community: Butch Lesbians, Effeminate young men, Drag Queens, Male Prostitutes, Transgender people and Homeless Youths. A year after Stonewall on June 28th 1970 the first gay pride marches took place in New York, Los Angeles and San Francisco.
The Stonewall Monument was established at the site in 2016.
Lillian Faderman calls the riots the 'Shots heard around the world' saying 'The Stonewall Rebellion was crucial because it sounded the rally for that movement, it became emblem of gay and lesbian power'.

BOOK: WAR ON WOMEN

WAR ON WOMEN

Feminism has not reached its goal yet.
For the white, Western woman, much has changed but the first wave of feminism taken place in many parts of the world it is dangerous for many women to be born.
Every now and then comes threw the Dutch media is a message on Female Genital Mutilation (FGM), trafficking, or Indian child brides, but those messages disappear quickly and make little impression. Who knows what FGM is anyway? Details are uncomfortable, but Sue Lloyd-Roberts knows precisely that details make the difference and warns you of them in her book The War Against Women

The World Health Organization defines FGM as "any procedure where in a part of or all of the external female genitalia are removed, or any other damage of the female genital organs for non-medical reasons. There are four types according to the organisation. In many cases, the clitoris is maimed or removed and sometimes labia, both inner and outer are cut through. The latter is done to narrow the vaginal opening; anything to make women sexual pleasure possible. Young girls are circumcised, and everything takes place without anaesthesia. Some girls bleed to death after such a cutting party. FGM still exists because of the belief that a girl will not marry if she is not circumcised, she would be unclean or indecent; people value tradition.
That is what we are talking about when we talk about misogyny; tradition. It is maddening, even for Lloyd-Roberts.

She writes: "I want to scream when I hear him invoke the word "tradition" as an explanation. How many crimes are all over the world against women committed in the name of tradition? Humanity is becoming better informed, globalised, and more educated, you might think, so why do people just refer to outdated and unexplained traditions mock common sense, and even with the law? What is it terribly convenient to carry on traditions to disguise misogyny and even legitimise criminal behaviour."

In Pakistan, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, India, the tradition is to treat a woman as property. she is married off as soon as possible because otherwise it costs too much money. According to the law you may not marry girls in India before 18 years old (boys must be at least 21 years), but it happens that girls have been choosen before they are teens.
Despite the low social status of women, the honour of a family does depend on chastity and unconditional obedience of daughter, sister, and / or spouse. A girl has however already no longer pure as noted by family that someone other than her (future) husband looks at her. In such cases, a girl's life is no longer certain, honour killings will be punished enough not to commit the murder. If the killer is already arrested and prosecuted, he is only a few months in prison and then welcomed home as a hero: the family honour is saved.

Sue Lloyd-Roberts (she died in October 2015 from a rare form of leukaemia) a courageous journalist, from the texts in the war against women show that they undisturbed questions kept asking, and would not be stopping by disgust or anger or dismay. Moreover, she knows how to put every story in context, making it clear to include these women stories because it can be a huge scandal, or because for bureaucratic reasons little or nothing is done.
Sue Lloyd-Roberts appoints in this book frankly what she sees or hears or thinks. Lloyd-Roberts was not necessarily feminist but came after thirty years of film making to the conclusion that women are very often the victims of situations that are maintained by men. How is it possible that women, a group comprising more than half the world's population, still treated as a minority? It is a political issue, suspected Lloyd-Roberts. It is an issue that is still not considered a priority, even in the Western world is misogyny often seen as a luxury problem.
