My Halloween Costume - Myrtle Wilson

Believe it or not this is my first ever Halloween party I'm going to as a child I was never invited to anyone's party.
I remember one time I went to school dressed up like Mel b from the spice girls because my mam forgot to get me a outfit as you can imagine my hair was very big...... I was very embarrassed.

So as you can imagine it took me four hours trailing the Internet for idea's with only two days of planning I didn't have time for the whole thing so I decided easy and cheap would be best.

I gave my self £10 and that was it for accessories if needed.
Charity shops are great for this type of thing.
These are my idea's what do you think?

The only thing I bought was
Hair pins £1.50
Bracelet £1.49
Red feather headband £3.50

Explaining my life to you so it makes sense to me

No one warned me moving was so stressful on your own.

When I have moved in the past I have always moved with someone so it was a bit easier but this is the first time I have moved on my own and hell fire its stressful I mean I have not planned anything very well I don't even have a place to live when I get their (i must be crazy)

The whole reason I am moving is I got offered a full time job and I start in two weeks on Monday.

I still have to figure out how I am getting me and my dog down there yet....
Another update soon

Happy Halloween ๐Ÿ‘ป

Click here for the real emotion's

Food: I made flapjack

My first attempt went drastically bad it came out like concrete and nearly broke the plate..... In the bin that went.

Attempt number two and I listened to the recipe this time and it turned out great... Amazing really. ๐Ÿ’ƒ
125g butter
100g brown sugar (I used normal sugar)
4 tablespoons of golden syrup (I just tipped what I had left in)
250g oats (listen to this bit that's where I went wrong)

How to:
1: In a pan place the butter, sugar and golden syrup melt together but don't boil.
#When melting make sure when your stirring there is no grating of the sugar.
2: Stir in the oats and mix well (need some muscle here)
3: Grease the baking tin with a bit of butter.
4: Spoon in the ingredients and level with the back of your spoon it will be sticky.
5: Bake for 25/30 mins or until golden brown (use your own initiative here)

DIY Wool Dress Refashion

How the dress looked its a great Wool Dress but the sleeves where 3/4 length and the dress went over my knees (not my fave)

What you need:
Thread (same color as the dress)
Measuring tape

How to:
1: put the dress on and mark where you're going to cut.
2: Take off the dress and lay it flat.
3: With chalk and the measuring tape make your line more visible for cutting. (Make sure your lines are straight)
4: When your happy with your lines cut them slowly.
5: With your pins create a hem by folding over the edges and pinning it in place.
6: Sew the pinned areas (make sure the dress is inside out)

#Make sure the dress is inside out so any Tangle's or mistakes are on the inside no one sees.
#Be careful when handling the pins they can be a bit fiddly.
#Always remember cut too less off you can always adjust later.

Sleeves hemed and sewn

The bottom rpined and ready for sewing

The bottom of the dress sewn and straight

The finished dress sleeves shorter and ow the dress sits just above the knee's. Perfect ๐Ÿ˜˜

A little bit of family life

Another thing I have two debts down (go me)
Just two more to go.

Sending light and love to all who are living in the darkness and cant see a way out.

Currently reading this beauty of a book.
Have your read it?

BOOK: Roxy Music by Johnny Rogan

I have to admit this book is poop!
I was really looking forward to it but since reading it its crap, a spoiled man who thinks he's going to get to face quickly by being weird and eccentric.
I would recommend the only thing this book need's is going in the bin.. ๐Ÿ“š

Warrington museum and art gallery

Today after a very important check up I decided to check out the library and came away with 6 books and I also visited the museum which was great.
Here's a few pictures I took

Shouting from the rooftops

Recently I finished reading David Jason's Autobiography and I have to admit I loved it.
It's one of the best I have ever read, this man is amazing funny and very down to earth.
I learnt so from that book like I didn't know his first girl friend died sadly of breast cancer, he didn't have kids till 60, he didn't get married till 60.
The book is amazing I recommend to everyone you must read this book.
