Feeling Down And Out

Over the years of my life i have not been very good at keeping friends for very long i don't really know why that is maybe i am not a good person i don't know.
There is one friend that has stayed with me threw everything tho i lost her for a while because i moved away from Cumbria but found her again thanks to Facebook and now i am really excited because this weekend we are to meet up in Liverpool for the first time since college (back in 2008) and go to a festival together.

Her name is Beth we met in the first year of college we attended for about 3 years together and ever since we have been great friends, during college we had a brief romance but we both realised we would do better as friends and that is how we have stayed ever since we still live miles apart but its just great to talk to her again and its like we have never been apart.

Also i have had a really bad fever i have been taking medicine like its was seets and it still hasnt gone so i get very snotty and midnight coughs its not very pleasent but my dog can manage to snore all the way threw it.

I have writen previously about orange paint and moving, we are currentaly in the new flat and working on the painting got the main rooms done now and working on the garden putting up a fence so my dogs can run free.
I am just looking forward to this weekend for a break and now my money is finaly sorted i can stop worrying about feeding me and the dogs.
I don't kno if any of you have had the same problems when moving sitching bills over, bills changing, adress changing its all crazy and just up in the air at the min and i feel like one step forward 10 steps back.

Sorry for my whining but my blog is the only place i can get my freedom of speach out.

Nora Ephron - Director - Producer

Nora Ephron May 19, 1941 – June 26, 2012)
was an American journalist, essayist, playwright, screenwriter, novelist, producer, director, and blogger.
Ephron is best known for her romantic comedies and was nominated three times for the Academy Award for Best Writing: for Silkwood, When Harry Met Sally..., and Sleepless in Seattle. She won a BAFTA Award for Best Original Screenplay for When Harry Met Sally.... She sometimes wrote with her sister Delia Ephron. Her last film was Julie & Julia. She also co-authored the Drama Desk Award–winning theatrical production Love, Loss, and What I Wore. In 2013, Ephron received a posthumous Tony Award nomination for Best Play for her play Lucky Guy.
On June 26, 2012, Ephron died from pneumonia, a complication resulting from acute myeloid leukaemia, a condition with which she was diagnosed in 2006. In her final book, I Remember Nothing (2010), Ephron left clues that something was wrong with her or that she was ill, particularly in a list at the end of the book citing "things I won't miss/things I'll miss". There was widespread and somewhat shocked reaction to her death (as she had kept her illness secret from most people), with celebrities such as Meryl Streep, Matthew Broderick, Billy Crystal, Meg Ryan, Nicole Kidman, Tom Hanks, Albert Brooks, and Ron Howard commenting on her brilliance, warmth, generosity, and wit.
"...you can settle for reality, or you can go off, like a fool, and dream another dream." Heartburn
"Maybe young women don't wonder whether they can have it all any longer, but in case any of you are wondering, of course you can have it all." 1996 Wellesley commencement.

What am supposed to do with 10 litres of ORANGE FUCKING PAINT!!! i shouted..

I have to tell you people I am sick of moving!!
Today we signed for the new house well its not really a new house it's a flat, a upstairs flat.
Now bear in mind we have 2 dogs and a Guinea pig.
So today we got our voucher from the housing (the flat is part of a council trust) and we went off to buy some furniture we didn't buy anything because the husband couldn't make his mind up, then we went to get some paint (we got a voucher for the damages the builders did) now that was great we bought paint!
We bought 5 tubs of paint it all came to £146.90 I Nearly fucking died.
Good job the voucher was paying for all of this, so after that we went to the £ shop and bough about £5 worth of paint brushes, that was great.
Then we get back to the flat to paint, The Husband said the colours he picked where a bit different and a bit bright but fuck me I didn't realise it was that bright and I hate it.
The husband has a thing of going in places looking like he knows what he is doing so he's stood there saying we need 10 liters of this and that, he has no idea.
To tone this colour down we got cookie dough kind of a browns colour.

The other colours for the house are pretty nice I got Ocean Ripple for the kitchen its
kind of like green blue and I swear it smells of mint.

The Collected Works Of Oscar Wilde - Currentaly Reading

At the start of the year I always rotate my books from tiny books to massive door wedge books and this year it's mammoth door wedge books so I have decided to start with (even tho we are 6 months in) "The Collected Works Of Oscar Wilde"
I am really enjoying the book but I have to tell you I skipped the first story "The Picture Of Dorian Grey" I have read the story before and I didn't like it.
I am 187 pages in and it's really good book, easy reading.
Another update when I have read a bit more.
Just so you get the sheer size of this book
Don't mind the pink pj's

Corner House, Manchester You Dissapoint Me!

Corner House Manchester I have to say it you disappointed me deeply, there was loads of hype on the Internet about your bookstore so I thought "I must go" when I got there I was very excited I was wanting to buy loads of books.
When I walked in I must have looked confused because the guy asked if I needed some help so I asked where the book shop was and he pointed to the door's direction!
I will try to be nice about this but it wont happen.
I must have looked ever more confused when I looked back at the guy because he quickly said "our book shop is right here miss"
My reply was not so posh "That's it....right, Thank you"
I walked over with every step my heart sank with sheer disappointment. the only way I can explain this is my bathroom is bigger than their book shop!
They didn't even sell proper books it was more comic books and music books (there OK if you like that).
I am sorry Corner House you failed your great for tea and coffee and films but not books, I wont be recommending you to anybody for books.
Have any of you had a bad experience with book stores?

Selling Advice..?

No I am a firm believer in giving stuff away to charity but sometimes just sometimes I do like to sell stuff you see I am trying to fund my driving lessons so I am selling a few books, clothes and shoes but I am not too sure if Ebay it the best way anymore.
Do any of you have any other ideas or sites where you can sell stuff?
What sites do you use?
I would love to do a car boot sometime but the husband works Sundays.
