Film: Hitchcock

  1. Following his great success with "North by Northwest," director Alfred Hitchcock (Anthony Hopkins) makes a daring choice for his next project: an adaptation of Robert Bloch's novel "Psycho." When the studio refuses to back the picture, Hitchcock decides to pay for it himself in exchange for a percentage of the profits. His wife, Alma Reville (Helen Mirren), has serious reservations about the film but supports him nonetheless. Still, the production strains the couple's marriage.

  2. My personal opinion is I love this film why didn't I watch it sooner?
  3. I don't really like anything with Scarlett Johansson in it but this was good for her  as always Anthony Hopkins and Helen Mirren where amazing.
  4. Who new his obsession with death and the ladies would make him a millionaire.

Movies: We Still Kill The Old Way.

When retired East End villain Charlie Archer is murdered by a feral street gang, his brother Ritchie returns to London from Spain to investigate.
My opinion is I liked this film it has some great older actors in it who I love anyway, the comedy was good from the older ones.
My only problem there was not enough torture it started but was over far too quick, I think they should have put a bit more in it.

FILM: Naked 1993

Johnny flees Manchester for London, to avoid a beating from the family of a girl he has raped. There he finds an old girlfriend, and spends some time homeless, spending much of his time ranting at strangers, and meeting characters in plights very much like his own.

A must see film i just watched it awesome - ness

I love this film (i just want to marry David) the start of this film was a bit shocking because it starts with a rape but every thing else was brill i am so glad i watched it. The film was made in 1993 by mike Leigh and he casted the actors perfectly.

Paul Walker

I know this post is a bit late but its here anyhow i would like to remember Paul Walker in pictures.

Paul William Walker IV[4]
(September 12, 1973 – November 30, 2013) was an American actor.

On November 30, 2013, at approximately 3:30 p.m. PST, Walker and friend Roger Roda's, age 38, left an event for Walker's charity Reach Out Worldwide for victims of Typhoon Haiyan in Roda's red 2005 Porsche Carrera GT. After leaving the event, the car crashed into a light pole and tree on Hercules Street near Kelly Johnson Parkway in Valencia, Santa Clarita, California, after which the vehicle burst into flames. The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department declared both victims dead at the scene. Roda's died of multiple traumatic injuries, while Walker died of the combined effects of traumatic and thermal injuries, according to the Los Angeles county coroner's office.

BOOK: The Death and Life Of Charlie ST Cloud

The death and life of charlie st cloud

Charlie St. Cloud has been given the gift of seeing his deceased brother, but when a new love interest is in trouble he must choose between saving a life or continuing to see his brother everyday.

This film is best served with a bottle of wine and loads of tissues!
Its defiantly a tear jerker, i welled up a few times.
I liked the film its a sloppy romance.
But the book is very different obviously more detail but still very different.

Don't you just hate it when the don't make them the same?!

FILM: The Family

As you all know i am not good at doing reviews so we will just talk about it my way.

The family
The Manzoni family a notorious mafia clan is relocated to Normandy, France under the witness protection program, where fitting in soon becomes challenging as their old habits die hard.

My thoughts: This is a good film over all. I love it when the lady asks for peanut butter and then ends up blowing up the store, another good bit is when the plumber comes and he ends up beating the shit out of him then taking him to the hospital.
The only problem with this film is it just ends!
After a huge fight it just ends, I was disappointed.

FILM: Olympus Has Fallen

I am not good at reviews really so i will just talk about it my way.

Olympus Has Fallen.
Disgraced former Presidential guard Mike Banning finds himself trapped inside the White House in the wake of a terrorist attack; using his inside knowledge, Banning works with national security to rescue the President from his kidnappers.

What i had to say about it:
What a great film it had me sweating and on the edge of my seat.
The best for me was it didn't hold back on the blood and guts which is good and their is no sloppy love story its just kill, kill, kill.

Let me just say as well Gerard Butler has never looked soon hotter.
