They died!!!

My favourite pair of summer shoes have finally died 😦
In tesco of all places I heard them rip I looked and I was devastated, these shoes have survived France, Spain and DIY bits over the years.
I had a look at them and they could be fixed but I think its time to let them go, I do have a pair to replace them but its hard work wearing them in!! Blisters.... Sore feet...god help me.



DIY Earring Holder


What you need:
1: cardboard square x2
2: Tights

How to:
1: cut two even square's out of the cardboard (I used the edges of the box)
2: cut the toe off the tights and stretch it over the cardboard make sure you have room at the top for hanging and the bottom for dangling earrings.
3: Hang where eve you desire. You might need a named and nail for that bit.


Food: ChickPea and Potato Tagine

Chickpea and potato tagine

What's needed:
2 tablespoons on olive oil
2 onions, roughly chopped
1 teaspoon of smoked paprika
1 teaspoon cumin seed roughly crushed
500g potatoes cubed
400g pinto beans
400g chickpeas drained
100g lemon pickle drained
600ml veg stock
Salt and pepper

What to do:
1: fry the onions till golden brown, stir in the spices and mix well.
2: Mix the potatoes, and beans then stir well.
3: add the lemons and stock bring to a boil then reduce the heat.
4: cover and simmer gently for 40 mins until the potatoes are soft.
5: serve with crumbled cheese and a sprinkle of coriander





Food: Mango and Peach Crumble

Peach and Mango Crumble

What you need:
Two time of mixed fruit
1 bag of crumble mix

I bought all mine from tesco but it was cheap enough and won't break the bank also kids can help you make this.

What to do:
1: Get a oven proof dish and place the mango and peaches in make sure their mixed up.
2: Sprinkle the mix on top evenly.
3: Place in the oven until golden brown and piping hot all the way threw.
(I made that much I have placed mine in plastic containers and store in the fridge until needed, you could also put some custard or cream with it)






Food: Nutty Clusters

Nutty Clusters

What you need:
Mixed nuts
Plain chocolate 
(It doesn't matter how much you use in this dish because it all gets used, I used one and a half bars of chocolate then just added the nuts to all the chocolate had covered every thing.)

What you do:
1: chop the chocolate roughly and add to a bowl over a simmering pan of water, stir until smooth.
2: Add the nuts gradually coating everything in chocolate.
3: place some baking paper on a tray then dollop the chocolate in generous piles all over the tray, try to keep them away from each other.
4: put the I the fridge for about 30 mins the place in a container for storing. Keep in the fridge so it won't melt.




Food: Chocolate Sauce

What you need:
200g chocolate
25g butter
125ml milk
1tbsp Double cream

How to:
1: Melt the chocolate and the butter in a bowl over a pan of water (like a bamberi)
2: Take the bowl off the heat add the milk and cream then place back on the heat.
3: Warm it up but do not let it bubble/boil keep whisking.
4: Pour into a warm jug or bowl. Serve.


Food: Asparagus and Boiled eggs

Breakfast serves 1

Ingredients:
2 eggs
1 bunch of asparagus
A nob of butter
Lemon juice

1: Boils the water for the eggs.
2: grill or boil the asparagus.
3: slice the asparagus 1inch lengths, throw them in a bowl with the butter.
4: peel the eggs and half them
5: serve together.

(I boiled my asparagus in the same water as my eggs it saves wastage also I added a it bit of parsley and lemon juice but that's my preferred ting but your might be different.)



Food: Asparagus, potatoes, boiled eggs

Dinner
New Potatoes, Asparagus, Boiled Eggs
Serves 6

Ingredients:
750g new potatoes
3 eggs
1 bunch of asparagus
Olive oil
Fresh parsley and dill
Juice of a lemon

1: Boil the potatoes in a pan with a pinch of salt. Drain then set a side.
2: Boil some water I another pan for the eggs. Simmer for 6 mins then run them under cold water when cool remove the shells then half.
3: I a large serving bowl combine potatoes, lemon juice, some seasoning. Toss to coat.
4: set aside and let the flavours develop.
5: Boil or grill the asparagus, when done cut into 1 inch length then add to the bowl, toss to coat.
6: Plate then add the eggs.

(I added a bit of coleslaw with mine. I also saved time and placed my asparagus In the same water after the eggs where done to save time)

The first thing I did when I finally got all my stuff in my new house was unpack the shoes and books.
I don't know what it is with the pair of them they just make me feel better.

Aoki has modelled for the fashion houses Lancôme, Chanel, Versace, despite her relatively short height for a runway model. Aoki has done ad campaigns for Chanel Ready-to-Wear, Chanel Couture by Karl Lagerfeld, Versace by Steven Meisel, YSL by Juergen Teller, Alessandro Dell'Acqua, Hugo Boss, Moschino,Ungaro, Fendi, nko Shimada by Bettina Kimenda, Baby Phat by Kimora Lee Simmons, Lancome, Tiffany's and co.
Early in her career, Aoki made cameo appearances in several music videos, including Duran Duran's "Electric Barbarella", Primal Screams "Kowalski", Elton John's "Something About the Way You Look Tonight" and Ludacris' "Act a Fool". Music from the latter video was featured in the soundtrack of 2 Fast 2 Furious, in which both Ludacris and Aoki appeared. In 2007, she made an appearance in The Killers' video "Bones". 
Aoki has made a cameo appearance in the short films accompanying the Sean Lennon album, Friendly Fire. She also played Anna in Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Undead. Aoki reprised her "Bones" character in a brief scene on the music video "Just Another Girl" in 2013.

The same year, Aoki posed for photographer Marc Baptiste’s book Nudes wearing a dress. In September 2007, it was announced she was designing a jeans line for Levi's Asian market. Aoki made a return to the runway, walking for the Chanel Pre-Fall 2008 show in London and the couture show in Paris where she was the bride.
